The study focuses on determining the effectiveness of chitosan coating with different concentrations at different storage temperatures on brinjal (Solanum melongena). A primary concern of brinjals is that the shelf life of the brinjal is very short. An edible coating is an eco-friendly technology that used in many industries including the food industry.
