Objectives: The objectives of this study were to develop a novel bleaching material containing hydrated calcium silicate (hCS) particles and investigate the effects of hCS on the bleaching efficacy, microhardness, and surface morphology of bovine enamel. Materials and methods: To prepare the hCS particles, white Portland cement was mixed with distilled water and ground into a fine powder.
