Objectives: To investigate the added diagnostic value of abbreviated breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for suspicious microcalcifications on screening mammography. Methods: This prospective study included 80 patients with suspicious calcifications on screening mammography who underwent abbreviated MRI before undergoing breast biopsy between August 2017 and September 2020. The abbreviated protocol included one pre-contrast and the first post-contrast T1-weighted series.
