Hate speech and journalism : challenges and strategies

What is the role of hate speech in the world of journalism? What is the role of journalism against hate speech? And how should and can journalism and journalists deal with hate speech? This article shows that in the context of new information technologies and the digitization of journalism, hate speech is relevant for journalism and journalists for several reasons; it affects the fundamental function and purpose of the media.
