One goal of 5G networks is to integrate into a single physical network a variety of services, each with specific requirements, so that each service can use a logical network tailored to its requirements. The concept of "network slicing" is widely studied for 5G and is considered as the key mechanism for coexisting different services in the same physical infrastructure.
