Block copolymers have the potential to self-assemble in a variety of periodic structures at nanometric scale. The objective of this work was to explore the opportunity of iterative selfassembly of block copolymer thin films for the formation of three-dimensional structures. Particularly, a strong attention was devoted to the understanding of the stacking rules (i.e. relative orientation and alignment) between the different block copolymer layers. For this purpose, the PSb- PMMA system was chosen as it allows the selective hybridization of the PMMA domains in alumina leading to the immobilization of the nanostructured layer for further stacking.
