National audienceThis paper presents the design, the implementation and the characterization of a wireless sensors network (WSN), battery-free, and wirelesslyand remotely powered and controlled through a radiative electromagnetic wireless power transfer (WPT) system tuned by communicatingnodes used as gateways. This research works demonstrate for the first time the capacity to use a unique antenna for data and power transmissionin a SWIPT (simultaneous wireless information and power transmission) system. We also achieve, at our best knowledge, the highest powertransfer distance for a SWIPT: 11 meters.
