The purpose of this Internet study was to explore physical activity involvement among Taiwanese women with menstrual symptoms while considering their physio-psycho-socio-cultural contexts. The specific aims of the study were to determine the relationships among physical activity involvement, demographic variables, and physio-psycho-socio-cultural factors (including menstrual attitudes, menstrual symptoms and patterns, as well as gender and cultural factors) and to explore physical-activity experiences relative to social and cultural contexts among Taiwanese women with and without menstrual symptoms.
