Methods of short-range digital photogrammetry and unmanned aerial vehicle imagining increasingly find more extensive usage in various types of measurements. In recent years, modern photogrammetric technologies have found wide application in recreating 3D models of any objects. The resulting 3D models can be a source of information that may be used for measurement, inventorying and cataloguing, as well as for visualisation purposes. New methods of acquiring spatial data have been developed, such as laser scanning, imaging using unmanned aerial vehicles or digital non-metric cameras.
