Financial Support of Tourism and Agritourism Development on the Country in the Financing Perspective of the European Union for the Period 2014-2020

Support for micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises in the country after the Polish accession to the European Union resulted in the dynamic development of non-agricultural activities and diversification of the rural economy. The subject of this paper is to analyze and evaluate the possibility of obtaining funds in the new financial perspective 2014-2020 by the European Union for the development of rural tourism, including agritourism with particular emphasis on innovative projects. The first part of the consideration is presented the terms of synthetic tourism economy with particular emphasis on rural tourism – rural tourism in relation to the ongoing projects of an economic nature, in the other hand, an analysis and evaluation of funding opportunities for projects in the field of rural tourism, including agritourism for new funding rules. Rural Development Programme for 2014-2020 includes the aspect of non-agricultural subsidies tourism forms of economic activity of rural population with regard to establishment of the rural population in the field of rural tourism services
