Purpose: Identification of corporate governance as a concept combining the ethical and economic dimension of contemporary organizations, taking into account the category of enterprise value. Design/methodology/approach: The paper is based on critical analysis of the literature, mainly in the field of corporate governance, as well as in the area of corporate value and ethics in management. Findings: The considerations presented in this study show that corporate governance can be approached as a management tool that would enable an enterprise to achieve various goals, both in the area of economic efficiency and business ethics.
