The Lublin Dominican monastery prided itself on having four images of the Mother of God, famous for their graces, that were worshipped from the beginning of the 17th century. Three of them have survived and still draw many believers. They are: the late-Gothic Mother of God „with fruit” in the type of Hodegetria, and two paintings dating from the 17th century – the Mother of God of Ruszel and the Tribunal Mother of God. The fourth one, that has not survived, a miraculous Marian image, was mentioned in the middle of the 18th century by Felicjan Nowowiejski.
