One of the recent biggest environmental problems is pollution by excessive waste produc-tion. One of the ways to partially eliminate this problem is packaging-free stores. The paper focuses on analysing the environmental behaviour of individual generations of consumers concerning shopping in packaging-free stores. A questionnaire survey served as a source for data gathering. In the analysis, we applied the method of descriptive statistics and mathematical-statistical methods (Shapiro-Wilk W test, Kruskal Wallis test, Wilcoxon rank-sum test) to verify the difference between generational groups of consumers and their awareness of packaging-free stores.
