The paper presents organic soils from Koszalin, Szczecinek area: peat, mud and bog lime have been tested regarding their usefulness for stabilisation using cement-fly ash admixture. Physical soil properties have been examined as well as compressive strength. The admixture contains 0/100, 75/25, 50/50, 25/75, 100/0, cement/fly ash and it has been added at amounts 150, 250 i 300 kg/m3. Used to stabilize fly ash from power plants Konin. Stabilized soil samples have been cured in water for 28 days. Presents the main sources of fly ashes from, as well as the principal directions of their utilization. The quality characteristics of fly ashes is discussed. The main tendencies in fly ashes utilization are pointed out. The compressive strength is pre...
