The paper presents the converter systems of wind turbine with permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). The mathematical models of converter wind power systems have been described. Simulation studies of the selected converter wind power system with direct connection of the wind turbine and PMSG generator have been presented. The simulation studies have demonstrated the ability of the considered system to stabilize the output voltage and frequency at variable wind speed
