The simulation research results of four-phase 8/6 switched reluctance machine which its dimensions were received by multi-variant field calculations have been presented in the paper. Static characteristics of designed motor and time waveforms of current and electromagnetic torque have been determined. Operating range with constant power of motor and possible to obtain value of overload capacity have been also determined
