In this paper research on the influence of non-symmetrical construction of stator on three phase SRM's properties is presented. Untypical motor stator construction is the result of the mount method of bearing disks. It causes changes of geometrical dimensions of one pair of stator poles in comparison to others. Consequence of this is magnetic and electric non-symmetrical machine construction. In this work, basing on simulation model, the influence of this non-symmetry on phase currents and electromagnetic torque is determined. The results are obtained using a suitable SRM model which validity has been experimentally verified. Conclusions are presented
