The paper presents optimization results for a two-module reluctance motor (Transverse Flux Motor) with an outer rotor. The main disadvantage of the considered motor structure is a zero starting torque in some rotor positions. The main optimization instrument is Matlab and its evolutionary algorithm connected with field computations software and a database to limit the computation costs. Two objective functions are taken into account for the motor integral parameter improvement
