The paper presents free vibration analysis of switched reluctance motor (SRM) electric drive. The 6/4 SRM motor of the food processor drive is presented. In the article 3D models of each element construction of projected SRM drive as well as the 3D assemblage model are presented. Modal analysis description and finite element method (FEM) model of SRM projected drive are presented. Free vibration calculations results for the frequency examples are described. Experimental test results for the proposed prototype SRM motor and conclusions are included
