Field Analysis of Permanent-Magnetic Gear

This paper presents the construction and operation principle of the modified magnetic gear. For the presented gear construction (with gear ratio 4:1) a series of calculations was carried out using two-dimensional numerical field model. On the base of field calculations, an analysis of the distribution of the radial component of the magnetic flux density in the air gaps were performed. The magnetic torque characteristics were calculated using the Maxwell Stress Tensor Method.W pracy przedstawiono budowę oraz zasadę działania zmodyfikowanej przekładni magnetycznej. Dla przykładowej konstrukcji przekładni, o przełożeniu 4:1, opracowano dwuwymiarowy model numeryczny, dla którego wykonano szereg obliczeń polowych. Przeprowadzono analizę rozkładu składowej promieniowej indukcji magnetycznej w szczelinach powietrznych.
