Requirements of directive 2004/104/ue in the electromagnetic compatibility (emc) scope of components used in vehicles and of concerns requirements

This article describes differences in the requirements of the electromagnetic compatibility test included in the Directive 2004/104/EC, related to vehicles and components applied in the automotive sector and requirements imposed by the automotive producers. Those differences imply the necessity to conduct tests and meet additional requirements, without which certain subassemblies will not be applied in produced vehicles. The article presents selected examples of detailed requirements such as resistance to pulses described in the ISO standards and other documents (the so called as internal company standards) of a few automotive producers (such as: PSA, Jaguar/Ford, VW).Referat opisuje różnice w wymaganiach z zakresu badań kompatybilności elektromagnetycznej (EMC) zawartych w Dyrektywie 2004/104/WE odnoszących się do pojazdów i komponentów stosowanych w branży Automotive, a wymaganiami narzucanymi przez koncerny samochodowe. Różnice powodują konieczność prowadzenia badań i spełnienia dodatkowych wymagań, bez których koncerny nie zastosują danego podzespołu w produkowanych pojazdach. Na przykładach przedstawiono kilka szczegółowych wymagań dotyczących m.in. badań odporności na impulsy opisanych w normach z serii ISO oraz w dokumentach (tzw. normach zakładowych) kilku koncernów samochodowych (np. PSA, Jaguar/Ford, VW)
