In the paper modified power converter (compared to classical asymmetrical half-bridge) to supply switched reluctance machines (SRMs) with asymmetric magnetic circuit of rotor was proposed. Discussed circuit allows to turn off windings much later with simultaneous shorten time of current flow in falling slopeof inductance by using proper control algorithm. Laboratory studies results as waveforms of currents, voltages and electromagnetic torque were placed.
