In the paper a general mathematical model of an electric power system is formulated. The system consists of asynchronous generator, variator an unbalanced three-phase resistive-inductive load circuit. State equations in Cauchy’s standard form are given. A numerical analysis of transient processes, occurring in the investigated object, was carried out. The flexibility of motion transmission in electromechanical system is taken into account.
