Evolution of Municipal Authorities as an Element of Poland’s Systemic Transformation after 1989

The systemic transformation in Poland affected virtually all spheres of the country’s social and economic life.One of its important elements was the restitution of the local government, which was both the object andthe subject of the transformation processes.
