Application of the axial flux to the assessment of the induction motor during the start-up process. Part I: rotor asymmetry

The article presents the research results of the unipolar flux application in the diagnostic of the stator winding and rotor cage of the induction motor. The waveforms of the voltage signals proportional to the axial flux, registered during the starting process, were analyzed. The detailed assessment of the effectiveness of failure distinction for chosen diagnostic signal is made. The application possibility of this algorithm on the testing station and laboratory test bench is shown. The research object is the Sg112M-4 motor of modified construction with built-in measurement coil and changeable rotors of different degree of the cage asymmetry. This motor contains also the terminal with chosen coil turns of the stator phase used to realize the turn-to-turn short circuit. The investigated squirrel cage motor was loaded by the separately excited DC generator allowing to modify the mechanical torque in the whole range of the motor torque characteristic. The paper consists of two parts. The first concerns the detection process of the rotor asymmetry. The second part presents the measurement results and its analysis for the case of stator asymmetry caused by the turn short circuit and the stator and rotor failure at the same time.W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań nad zastosowaniem strumienia unipolarnego w diagnostyce uzwojeń stojana oraz klatki wirnika silnika indukcyjnego. Analizowano przebiegi sygnałów napięciowych proporcjonalne do strumienia poosiowego zarejestrowane podczas rozruchu. Dokonano szczegółowej oceny skuteczności rozróżniania uszkodzeń dla wybranego sygnału diagnostycznego oraz możliwości zastosowania proponowanych algorytmów na stanowisku laboratoryjnym lub stacji prób. Obiektem analiz diagnostycznych był zmodyfikowany konstrukcyjnie silnik Sg112M-4 z zabudowaną cewką pomiarową i wymiennymi wirnikami o różnym stopniu niesymetrii klatki. Silnik ten miał również wyprowadzone odczepy, z wybranych zwojów dwóch cewek faz stojana, umożliwiające wykonanie symulowanych zwarć międzyzwojowych. Badany silnik klatkowy został obciążony prądnicą obcowzbudną, umożliwiającą zmianę momentu mechanicznego w całym zakresie charakterystyki. Artykuł podzielono na dwie części. Pierwsza część dotyczy wykrywania niesymetrii wirnika. W części drugiej przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów i analiz dla niesymetrii stojana spowodowanej zwarciami zwojowymi oraz uszkodzeń stojana i wirnika występujących łącznie
