In recent years the dynamic increase in installed capacity in wind power plants can be observed. In the world it comes to about 16 % per year. Making a decision about building a wind power plant is connected with the high investment risk and it requires having a number of techno– economic analyses. In the article, there is presented a possibility of applying Windcube v2 Doppler anemometer for the needs of wind energy.
