This study was carried out to assess the extent of variability for yield and yield related traits in upland rice genotypes. Twenty-two selected rainfed upland rice varieties were evaluated in randomized complete block design with three replications during 2014 cropping season. The analysis of variance revealed significant differences between the genotypes for all traits except harvest index, indicating the presence of a considerable amount of variability among the genotype. The disease reaction of different genotypes showed a significant variation for blast and brown spot.
