The prison community is a carrier of social culture, similarly to other communities, social strata and groups. As every single community, it consists of people with various cultural needs and levels of sensibility. The period of imprisonment is often not only the time of reflection on one's self, one’s past and present existence, but also a time of rebellion against one’s current situation and all the accompanying limitations.
