INTRODUCTION: Diabetes, as well as hypertension, cause significant deterioration in the quality of life as well as shortening the patient’s survival time. The aim of the study was to find answers to the following questions: 1) how many antihypertensive drugs are used by patients with hypertension and by patients with diabetes and hypertension; 2) are more antihypertensive drugs used by patients with impaired renal function; 3) are there any differences in the amount of antihypertensive drugs used between the observed groups.
