Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie metod określania związków temperatury wody rzecznej i temperatury powietrza na przykładzie nizinnej rzeki Świder. Zależności statystyczne ustalono w odniesieniu do średniej dobowej, tygodniowej, miesięcznej, a także maksymalnej dobowej i średniej maksymalnej tygodniowej temperatury wody oraz powietrza za pomocą logistycznych i liniowych modeli regresji. Dane uzyskano z własnych pomiarów terenowych, prowadzonych w latach hydrologicznych 2012 i 2013. Stwierdzono silny, nieliniowy związek między temperaturą wody i powietrza, na co wskazują uzyskane wartości współczynników determinacji i pierwiastków średnich błędów kwadratowych modeli logistycznych.
