Analysis of changes on the sugar market in Poland

W artykule zaprezentowano funkcjonowanie rynku cukru w Polsce. Przedstawiono uwarunkowania prawne rynku cukru w Polsce po przystąpieniu do Unii Europejskiej. Przeprowadzono również statystyczną analizę zmian w zakresie produkcji i konsumpcji cukru w Polsce wraz z analizą bilansu cukru.Common Agricultural Policy in terms of sugar market regulations led to very strong differences between sugar prices on the European Union internal market and export prices. Reform of this market was based mainly on introduction of limits of sugar production quotas. New regulations have not stabilized sugar market in Poland and quotas assigned do not satisfy demand for this commodity
