The phenomenon of self-organization of matter is well known in physics and chemistry, and for a few decades, we have had evidences that self-organization is an essential element of building structures and functions in living systems. Presumably the process of self-organization has taken place in shaping the chemical prebiotical structures and then in organizing them and forming in complex systems exhibiting the attributes of life.
