Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) is individual behaviour that is discretionary, not directly or explicitly recognized by formal reward system, and in the aggregate promotes the efficient and effective functioning of the organization. The six main categories of OCBs are: helping, sportsmanship, organizational loyalty, organizational compliance, individual initiative and self-development. The following article aims to present the consequences of employees’ organizational citizenship behaviour.
