Results of the rainfall kinetic energy fl ux measurements conducted during 2004 in Wrocław are presented at the paper. Kinetic energy measurements were made with the use of electronic impactometer and associated with rainfall intensity registrations. Measured rainfalls kinetic energy fl ux values were found to have similar shapes of temporal changes, as their intensity values. Estimates of rainfalls kinetic energy values based on their intensity and original energy relationship of USLE model were bigger then measured values, especially for high precipitation intensities
