It is clear that there are some theoretical foundations and emerging evidence of a positive relationship between supply chain integration and performance of a company. Nevertheless, D.C.K. Ho, K.F. Newton postulated in this context to establish the structures and methods that help to describe and explain the relationship between integration and performance practices of companies in the supply chain [Ho et al. 2002, s. 4415].
