Przedstawiono wyniki badań zróżnicowania konsumpcji papierosów w gospodarstwach domowych w Polsce w latach 1999-2008, w zależności od wykształcenia osób wchodzących w ich skład. W tym celu wykorzystano dwie zmienne różnicujące: wykształcenie głowy gospodarstwa oraz przeciętne wykształcenie osoby dorosłej w gospodarstwie. Uzyskane wyniki badań wskazują jednoznacznie na istnienie zależności, zgodnie z którą im wyższe wykształcenie, tym niższy poziom konsumpcji papierosów.
