Analysis of labour productivity in food industry in Poland

Przedstawiono średni poziom wydajności pracy oraz jego zmiany w czasie w poszczególnych branżach przemysłu spożywczego w Polsce. Ponadto, porównano wydajność pracy z wynagrodzeniem za pracę oraz określono wpływ technicznego uzbrojenia pracy i produktywności środków trwałych na wzrost wydajności pracy. Analizę przeprowadzono dla lat 2005-2007 na podstawie danych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego.The study presents the average level of labour productivity and its variation over time in each food industry sectors in Poland in the years 2005-2007. There is a comparison of labour productivity and average gross wages and salaries presented in the paper. Moreover, there is an influence of technical equipment of labour and noncurrent assets productivity on labour productivity increase produced in the article. The analysis shows diversification of labour productivity level between different sectors. Basing on research results, there has been suggested a classification of food sectors in terms of its development order
