Gleby hydrogeniczne Kotliny Kurpiowskiej oraz ich wlasciwosci

The characteristics of agriculturally used hydrogenic soils and their properties in the Kurpiowska Valley were presented in the paper. The described soils constitute about 40 % of agricultural lands and belong to moorsh and moorshous types. They were formated under the influence of topogenic and fluviogenic type of water supplying. Most of them have the unfavourable air- water relations and they are rapidly transformed. The described soils are differentiated by the content of organic matter. This is most important factor. The reserves of organic matter range within 170-740 t/ha. That greatly influences the physical, retention, sorptive properties and availability of nutrients in investigated soils.
