The experiment was carried out to evaluate the possibility of the production of forage on the grassland fertilized with rural wastes. In present paper, the effect of fertilization of grassland with rural wastes on sanitary quality of soil, grass, hay and silage was studied. The feeding quality of forage obtained in such condition was also investigated. It was found that the application of rural wastes on grassland increased the yield of grass compared with control pots. There was no differences in feeding quality of silage, prepared from plant material collected from pots fertilized with rural wastes, compared to that which was fertilized with NPK.
