Assuming the existence of the authority taboo, which manifests itself as a form of a linguistic censorship that concerns the criticism of the ruling class of the country by its opponents, the article aims to analyze the role of delexicalization in the negatively polarised argumentation in discourse. This paper will attempt to analyse the breaking of the authority taboo’s linguistic manifestations in new media discourse which appeared with Web 2.0.
