The essay is devoted to the creative activities of Andrzej Busza, one of the members of the London group “Kontynenty” (Continents). His Polish poetry from the 60s of the previous century and the one that originated in Canada were presented in the context of complex experience of an emigration poet. I paid utmost attention to the problems of settlement and alienation of the author living away from his homeland. The thoughts concerning the physical and symbolic space, in which Busza attempts to feel at home, occupy a significant place in here.
