Virtual learning environment in the process of enhancing motivation to learn

The paper analyses the value of the virtual learning environment in terms of enhancing motivation for learning. The author takes into account two selected motivational theories: theory of goals and selfdetermination theory. The implementation of education in a virtual environment refers to the assumptions of these theories. It is assumed that the use of digital technology in education supports the learning process and is a good way to build positive motivation to learn.W artykule podjęta jest analiza wartości wirtualnego środowiska kształcenia w aspekcie wzmacniania motywacji do uczenia się. Autorka uwzględnia dwie wybrane teorie motywacji: celów oraz autodeterminacji, do których założeń odnosi realizację kształcenia w środowisku wirtualnym. Zakłada, że wykorzystanie technologii cyfrowych w edukacji wspiera proces kształcenia i jest dobrą drogą do budowania pozytywnej motywacji do uczenia się
