The text highlights selected research themes explored by students of early school education, concerning the conditions for creative thinking development in music. The creativity is analysed in connection with audiation development, which in the light of the Gordon music learning theory is described as one of the most important paths in implementation ofthe music education process. it applies to various forms of music activity and forms part of the task of preparing children to active participation in music culture.
