A person employed on a temporary basis gains new possibilities, but also encounters psychological difficulties. They can be particularly burdensome if this form of employment was not the preferred one. The character of temporary employment consists in emotional and cognitive effort resulting from the necessity of cyclic adjustment to new conditions, entering into important interpersonal relationships and then breaking them off in order to begin the entire cycle again. This article aims at analyzing psychological threats associated with temporary employment.
