The paper presents the leading Polish educational institutions that have been operating within the area of military education since 1939 abroad and since the end of World War II in Poland. The author analyses the condition-ing of Polish military education determined by the political and military situation, including the identification of causes of, and inspiration for, the establishment of such institutions. The paper also analyses the priority curriculum assumptions as well as the aims achieved as a result of the conducted teaching process. The used bibliography related to the origins and development of the education of the Polish military have ensured an honest and solid presentation of the hallmarks that characterised different periods ...
