The dilemmas of resolving the problem of Poland’s economic security

The existence and activity of opposing relationships and dependencies between the determinants that strengthen and weaken the economic security of the state requires, from the point of view of new institutional economics, considering a number of dilemmas related to their management. This has led the author to analyse the problem described by the title. The paper focuses on determining the essence of state economic security management. While identifying and characterising the said management, it is use- ful to identify the institutional paradigm of economic security in the context of factors that benefit its development, but also among barriers to this development. This approach will allow identifying and characterising both the foundations of state economic security management and factors regulating the management of state security mechanisms
