The article is a contribution to the study of the genealogy of peasant families in Cieszyn Silesia. The text consists of two parts: a description and a genealogical table. It is the first study of the Wysłych family, presenting the history of seven generations of the house. Its progenitor was Wawrzyniec, who came from Cierlicko (cz. Těrlicko), who in 1723 married Zofia Pawelec, a Protestant. Their descendants, who then moved to Górki Wielkie, were consistently brought up in the Catholic faith and almost always married coreligionists.
