The attitude of China and Russia towards the international challenges of climate change is significantly different. While China entered the stage of ecological transformation, making an effort to increase the share of low-emission energy sources in the country’s energy balance, Russia protects its economic interests based on the policy of promoting hydrocarbons as an export commodity.
