Media studies – identity in interdisciplinary aspect

Thanks to media the world has become a global village. Media have tremendous influence on the perception of reality. Hence, we should focus on media education. Besides it is worth noting an interdisciplinary aspect of media studies because in the world of social communication journalistic celebrities are going to become more and more popular. Among them there are many media workers who want to take shortcuts to promotion nonchalantly and without sufficient genuine knowledge. For that reason instead of getting stuck in passivity, frustration and empty discussions we should get involved in the formation of schools, universities and departments focusing on media education and intelligent message reception
