In order to carry out her mission effectively in the contemporary world the Church is obliged to present the God’s Words through speech, images and gestures in such a manner that they are easily understood. The relevant and good theory coming from the area of communication is a good starting point for reflections on the reception of communication theory in theology. This phenomenon shows the necessity to adjust the universal character of salvation message to a specific system of communication in a society. However, in this process theology has to protect the unchangeability and versatility of this message.
